Recap: Blazers 111, Cavs 70 (Or, Baron’s back and OH GOD THERE’S SO MUCH BLOOD)
2011-03-18Everything about this game was miserable.
The Cavs had 6 assists and 18 turnovers.
105 of Portland’s points came from the paint, the free-throw line, or the three-point line.
Offense miserable, defense miserable, everything miserable. I hope you had a good St. Patrick’s day, everyone. I have nothing tonight.
John, you would be better off just writing a post saying “This team has no talent, no heart, no upside.” And ending ypur season early. You’ve done a great job writing anlysis, ypu’re one of the better truehoop writers I’ve read. You deserve a better outing from the team, the loyal fans of Cleveland do. With those two lotto picks, you guys can at least get two talented players and have some form of competition.
Baron Davis is useless. By the end of this year, he will put on 30 more pounds and will be eating fast food after every Cavs loss.
How many times can a person say the same thing over and over? What is there to analyze? This team has horrible talent. It can’t do anything effective. ANYTHING. They lose a lot because of this. Does it need to be said every single recap in different terms or what? If you haven’t figured out the general direction of this team and its players by now, you never will.
its games like this that make me wish there was a real nba farm system like baseball. at least then we could look forward to some new prospects being called up. i think i’ve seen enough of the young cavs for a while.
I fully support your short review. If there was a game that deserves no write-up, this is it.
He’s not kidding, and I can’t blame him for not writing anything. It was literally the worst performance I have ever seen from an NBA team.
But I mean, hey, after that 30-0 run they went on in the first quarter, at least we kinda kept pace, right?
I missed this game because of the festivities of the Irish yesterday, but I would like a little more of a recap. We lost by 40, wow. But how did Baron look in his return? Is Scott ready to take any blame for this team’s performance yet? Did we just come out dead and lethargic, or did the Blazers actually just outmatch us in every position?
but those of us who empathize with Cavs fans from afar would love something, anything from you.
Did Baron look like he cared?
Are the garbage minutes helping Eyenga’s development?
What’s the body language of the players/coaches like?
Is Samuels an NBA player?
how does Harangody have such a nice stat line til the turn overs and +_?
