Cmon, nobody we could pick at 30 was going to start for us, or make a significant difference in our championship hopes. If in three years this kid turns into the next Manu Ginobli, or even just a solid player, everybody will think it was a great move. I do like Green tho, although I don’t think he’s as good of a dancer as people say…

the amazing thing about this is that it makes absolutely zero sense even if they’re trying to save money. are they really going to fill their glaring hole at the swing positions cheaper through FA than through the draft? also, Ferry said he was trying to draft a gut with a high ceiling. the draft report on this guy says he possesses little or no actual basketball skills and has a low basketball iq. his ceiling is basically shitty mikael pietrus. and earlier in the day Ferry claimed the cavs were in position to win a championship even though they… Read more »

Why didn’t they take this guy with their second round pick? Was he in high demand? He was projected to go pretty late, right? Does Ferry really think this is a better pick than Budinger, Calathes, Mills, Summers, Young or Blair?

I’ve had time to pound back a few shots and I still hate Ferry for this pick! Hopefully we can win anyways and get someone useful with the MLE, but THIS PICK DOES NOT AT ALL FIT IN WITH WHAT THE CAVALIERS NEED TO BE DOING!
