After turbulent starts, the Cavaliers and Pistons have experienced similar turnarounds to their seasons. The post Josh Smith Detroit squad has gone 18-10 after a 5-23 start putting them in the race for the playoffs. The recent trades for Reggie Jackson and old favorite, Tayshaun Prince have further changed the face of the Piston lineup. Jackson was “crying tears of joy” after the trade. He apparently didn’t enjoy the Dion Waiters experience. Prince joins his third team of the season after providing surprisingly solid play both in Memphis and Boston. Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond have been huge since Smith’s departure freed up floor spacing. The Detroit starting bigmen each average a double-double in roughly 30 minutes per contest.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are obliterating teams since the famed bowling trip. The Wine and Gold have gone 15-2 with the current starting lineup healthy and intact. Over the last 25% of games, the Cavs are plus 13.27 according to Hollinger’s rankings. Matrix is out for two weeks with an injured hip, but Kendrick Perkins could make his Cavs debut. For the first time this season, the roster appears to be set. Sound off.

He is brilliant at that look. Charles Oakley had it too. I would have loved to sit at a baccarat table with Oakley Barkley and Jordan. The 3 would have the looks of an oceans movie.
Anyone want to speculate on LeBron’s absurd number of TO’s this year? By far his most TO’s in a season (4.1 per game). His second highest? His first year in Miami.
Maybe it’s a chemistry thing, but some of them are just plain bad. Not really complaining, he’s playing like an MVP, I’m just very curious.
Sadly I think it will be a career year in that regard.
Whole new team, hasn’t played with any of them. Just takes time. Can’t wait to see what how the team develops over time.

I agree. I’m waiting for a game where he shoots 75%. His FG% isn’t THAT far below his career average, but it’s still one of the (if not, the) lowest of his career. He’s taking way fewer shots, so obviously his PPG will be lower, but his shooting hasn’t been what we’ve expected (yet).
I’m waiting for him to go 13-18 in a game or something and, like you said, hit a 35 or 40 point, 20 rebound game.
