Live Thread: Cavs vs Bulls

The Cavs follow the Thunder/Rockets Matchup on ABC, which is turning into a humdinger of a game. Let’s hope we don’t miss too much of the Wine and Gold. Bulls are missing Hinrich and the Cavs appear to be at full strength. The rumor earlier this week was that Blatt was going to try to establish his playoff substitution pattern before the Cavs take the foot off the gas, schedule wise. So let’s hope they take the, ahem, Bulls by the horns, and stay in control all game. The Bulls have won 6-8, and Pau Gasol is averaging 20 a game over that stretch. Look for him to be the focus of the defense. OK, this Houston/Tunder game is winding down, and a ridiculous battle between Harden and Westbrook is underway. As soon as that’s over, let’s go Cavs.

That shot was just insane. Was commenting that the Cavs have three guys with legit range to half court with LeBron, Kyrie, and J.R. Could bode well for the playoffs.

Lebron’s physicality has increased exponentially the last week or so

The Bulls started out hot but are down to 46% shooting. They’ll end up around 42% like everyone else against the Cavs in the second half of the season. It’s like there’s a gravitational pull to that number.
That does seem to be the case.

That was great D. Cavs D has been pretty good this game
Especially after the first 7 minutes or so… The guards have played well. Moz has given up a few easy layups though.
Again, Moz has kept Gasol in check. He stopped a few penetrations early on.
Maybe in check scoring, but not rebounding and interior passing. He’s starting to pick things up though…
I really kind of wanted Moz to take the three that time…
