Coming off of a Jekyll and Hyde weekend in the Big Apple, the Cavs return home to the familiar confines of The Q and welcome possibly the only team in the NBA more Jekyll and Hyde-ish, the Houston Rockets.
LeBron James is out tonight, as head coach Tyronn Lue continues to find time to rest his key guys with only nine games left before the start of the playoffs. That means it will be up to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love to try to improve the Cavs record sans James to a robust 5-12 over the past two seasons.
Let’s see if Irving and Love can improve off their previous win without James, a 99-98 win over the Dallas Mavericks that saw Irving notch just a single assist and saw Irving’s critics and supporters alike lose their dang minds.
Cavs pick up like 4 or 5 fouls in a minute and a half… these refs won’t let the Cavs play any sort of physical defense what so ever…
It’s pretty much always the case when King Turd Harden is in the game…gets the cheapest fouls in the game.
They are giving every single call to the away team. It seems like Cavs never have the home court advantage with calls…
Where were these touch-foul refs last year when our guys were getting mugged in the playoffs?

I would absolutely love Pat Beverly on the Cavs. Playw all out all the time and if he went to a real team after this Rocket collection of headcases, he would be liberated and play spirited basketball.

This is the best non-Lebron game the Cavs have played the past 2 years, even better than the double nickel game. Everybody contributing, guys playing with a chip on their shoulder, defnse being great. The Rockets are more dysfunctional than the 76ers right now, but it doesnt matter.

Just do what I do: Imagine the millions of cells in his body healing themselves and creating stronger muscle bonds. Rather than just sitting in street clothes, he’s actually getting stronger to gear up for the playoffs.
