Tonight the 11-7 Cavaliers face off against the 8-9 Charlotte Hornets. Cleveland is riding a six game win streak and beat the Hornets on the 15th 115-107 in their last meeting. LeBron and company tend to bring the heat when going up against MJ’s team. It’s as if James wants to give Michael a first hand view of the new king of the NBA.
In their last several outings Cleveland has seemingly turned things around, aided by superb outings by several contributors. Korver is back to shooting lights out as his shooting percentages in the 4th quarter in particular have been nothing short of astounding. Jeff Green has been surprising and the team is performing much better as a whole.
Charlotte, on the other hand, followed up a six-game losing streak with their current three straight wins. Batum is questionable tonight after reinjuring his elbow. For the Cavs, Shumpert is still nursing a nagging injury while Derrick Rose is reportedly away from the team and evaluating his future in the NBA. Cleveland should have no trouble dispersing the Hornet’s nest tonight. Go Cavs!
Bron had 8 dimes in the first quarter… just one in the second… not for lack of trying as guys just missed shots…

I think TT & Shump for Jordan works salary wise. It is close.
On TT for Jordan Rumors, the salaries do not match. We need around $2 million more outgoing.
I’d rather have TT i think, though I hate his contact.
If TT isn’t going to be motivated & wants an LA move (or the Kardashian curse is kicking in), I would rather have Jordan. Better shot blocker, better finisher.
Jordan’s contract is a PO for $24 mil next year. TT has 2 years left after this one at $17.5 & $18.5.

On the Rose thing, I hope he stays. We were a mess early, that isn’t all on him. If he decides he wants to play, and that is in doubt in his mind now, it could help him and us going forward.
Though what his role would be once IT returns is anyone’s guess. I think Wade has to run the 2nd unit. I like having options and I don’t see a better one out there for us if he retires.
It’s more about his injuries. It is taking a toll now mentally for him. I don’t think he minds whatever role the team needs from him. It’s just that he can’t be healthy while playing ball. Sucks
