This Friday night is a show down between the 18-7 Cleveland Cavaliers and divisional rivals the 14-11 Indiana Pacers. Bankers Life Field House is one of the hardest arenas in the League for the Cavs. Every time LeBron and the Cavaliers travel to Indiana the games are tough. This iteration of the Pacers should be no different. Since trading Paul George to the Thunder, Victor Oladipo has acquitted himself quite well. He is playing at an all-star or near all-star level, averaging 23.3 points, 3.9 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game. Oladipo has finally arrived and it’s been fun to watch.
Fortunately, it’s been even more fun to watch the one man wrecking crew known as LeBron Raymone James. The King has been utterly decimating teams in the first quarter of the season. Since losing four straight early on, LeBron has taken his game up a notch, reportedly to 80%. He’s controlling every aspect of the game every night. When he’s not on the court, the Dinobots are transforming the second unit into a lethal force to give the starters a break. Tonight should be a good test as the Cavs go for 14 straight. As Always, Go Cavs!

He had everything except a great shot, and he improved that during his college years. And we took a dog like Anthony Bennett…
He shot over 40 percent on threes his junior year, though on like only 2 a game.

Couple observations from the half. 1. Indiana really loses people off ball a lot. 2. D Wade is great at what I would call slow motion cuts. Literally just jogging under the bucket after his guy loses him. It works because he moves at the exact right time for LBJ to find him. 3. Calderon has had some absolutely tremendous closeouts and recovers this game. A couple times I thought his guy would blow by him, but he recovered nearly every time to stop the drive. so…why are the pacers complaining so much about the calls? they are smacking and slapping people…it’s not like these are bumps. pretty easy calls.

I hate it when we hunt 3s to start quarters. Especially halves. Attack first. Work a sweat up. Get in a flow. Then the jumpers will fall easier
Jae has shot more threes 1/5 than anyone on the Cavs. Not good. Indy just sagging off him daring him to shoot….and he is firing too many blanks

Breath of fresh air compared to Rose, frankly. Don’t need the PG to be out of control when there are better scoring options on the court. Calderon plays more the Delly role on the offensive end.
