Live Thread: Cavs vs Magic

Oy. So yeah. Apparently there’s trouble in paradise since the Cavs have turned their team over to a college coach, and handed the keys to the offense to a guy who never passes. This was inevitable. Cleveland’s losing games either through malevolence or incompetence and their veterans did not sign up to be on a team this crappy.

Honestly, I’m surprised the revolt took this long. The Cavs have been purposely blowing games by playing terrible players in crunch time and letting the youngins get away with not passing to the guy who makes $30 mil a year.

We’ll see how this plays out on a night when David Fizdale got fired (good for him, he’ll be collecting three paychecks soon!) and when the Cavs play their only winnable game for a while.

The Magic have won six of the last eight, but they’re mostly playing crappy teams. Evan Fournier has been killing it and closing out on Bamba from three will be key.

As for the Cavs, it looks like only Dylan Winder remains on the injury list. As for the Magic, they’re still missing Michael Carter-Williams and Nikola Vucevik. We’ll know whether the Cavs can right the ship or whether the chemistry is toxic within the first 15 minutes. Should be an interesting one at least.
