Live Thread: Suns @ Cavs

Tonight on the shores of Lake Erie, the Cavs take on another NBA championship contender in the form of the scorching hot Phoenix Suns, who come to Cleveland on a 13 game winning streak. The triumvirate of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton lead their squad and will be the main obstacle to a Cavs’ win.
In some good news, there’s buzz that Cedi Osman will be back in action tonight. Of course, the bad news is the questionable status of Darius Garland, who’s been the engine of the Cavs’ offense this season. Hopefully both are healthy and ready to go, because it will take all healthy hands on deck to compete one of the West’s best. Lamar Stevens and Evan Mobley remain out with injuries.
One thing to watch is how the Cavs respond in the fourth quarter. Against contenders such as the Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors, the Cavs held fourth quarter leads in both games only to be ran out of the gym in the fourth quarter when the stars need to step up. For the Cavs, it will have to be the collective efforts of Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and Ricky Rubio that need to step up and bring a win home for the Cavs.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:00pm ET and the game will be broadcasted by Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes. GO CAVS!

Even in our losses, we have almost always played well for 2-3 quarters and had the lead for the majority of the game.
As someone who was really down on us earlier in the year, the fact that this has continued even without Sexton & Mobley makes me think we can keep it up as long as Garland/Rubio/Allen are healthy.

Apart from their awesome play, both Allen & Mobley bring a calm professionalism to this team. Hard not to like.
