Live Thread: Nuggets @ Cavs

The Cavs welcome the 2022-23 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets to the shores of Lake Erie for a classic measuring stick game for the good guys. The Cavs are mired among a massive Eastern Conference middle class, and they look closer to the eighth best team in the East instead of top four so far this season. Tonight’s a big chance for them to hold home court, and gain massive confidence should they out-duel the reigning champions. The Cavs will have to overcome their terrible lack of ball movement on offense, and their inability to rebound on defense in order to take this one from one of the best teams in the NBA. On the other hand, Denver is obviously the best team in the NBA at ball movement, and they’re a top 10 defensive rebounding team.
BREAKING: TOP CHEF CARIS LEVERT OUT
With Caris out, the Craig Porter, Jr. Agenda is in full swing, if CPJ could become a reliable Alex Caruso type off the bench, that would be a game changer for this team. Yours truly believes CPJ is already a better passer and rebounder than Okoro while providing the same elite perimeter defense. I’m fully on board seeing what 25 minutes per game CPJ looks like. The biggest question for him is his jumper, can he figure it out? Here’s the tale of the tape:
