Cleveland is in L.A. again tonight, to take on the 26-13 Clippers this time. The Cavs will need Timofey Mozgov this game, to counter the force that is DeAndre Jordan. Last game, Jordan was dominant, with a 17 point 18 rebound performance. As many a commenter has noted, the Clips are strong where the Cavs are weak: at the rim, and behind the three point line. Let’s hope the Cavs are up to the challenge. Kevin Love is a game time decision, as is J.R. Smith who apparently “tweaked his back” in warmups. Tonight’s headline pic comes from EvilGenius, who’s bringing us luck from inside the Staples Center. Let’s go Cavs!

Yeah Lebron got elbowed in the mouth by griffin and just got called for jumping in the vicinity of Jordan. We seem poised to win in spite of it but they will get extra free throws because of that crap

Fortunately Clips are playing sloppy and chaotic as well, and Cavs seem to have better energy.
We play like middle schoolers that get a rebound, dribble to the 3 point line and launch a shot. No passes, no motion, no nuthin’. I don’t care what the score is.
That hustle for the steal and loose ball was the most hustle I’ve seen from LBJ this year. Just wish he hit the shot…

Gotta admit. Blatt junking it up really helped the Cavs and took the Clips out of their offense. LeBron going to the bench helped the ball move at the end of the quarter.

Ugly offense this quarter. LeBron in iso mode. No movement. Pound, pound, pound, then a forced shot or turnover.
First possession of the quarter, LeBron brings it up and doesn’t get the offense started–a pass to JR on the wing, with Mozgov setting a pick–until the shot clock is down to 6 seconds.
He should really try listening to Blatt once in a while.

Considering Lebron is shooting 53% from the line since returning from injury, hacking DeAndre and then having Lebron drive to draw fouls seems like the world’s most glacial plan for a rally.
and considering he has more turnovers than anyone too, it is not a good plan.
