The Shumpman is lurking.
The Cavs are in Orlando tonight to take on the Magic. Last time these two teams faced off, the Cavs won. However, neither team really played defense. The Cavs shot 53% from the floor dropping 18 threes, while the Magic hit 49% of their shots. Kevin Love led the Cavs with 34 points.
The Magic have experimented with their starting lineup since the Cavs last saw them, sending Victor Oladipo to the bench for Channing Frye. Orlando has won five and lost just two since that move. Their starting lineup has a lot more room to work with since teams have to cover Channing out to the 3-line.
The Cavs are coming off a win against Portland and may have Iman Shumpert back in the rotation. If Iman plays, he will likely be tasked with covering the Magics’ Evan Fournier. Fournier scored 13 points in his last game against Cleveland and hit all three of his 3-pointers. The Shumpman (clink the link to reveal Shumpman) is ready to to swat Evan every chance he gets. Evan best hope the lights don’t go out in the arena, because that’s when the Shumping usually starts going down.
If the Cavs can stay focused, they should be able to over power the Magic’s defense and get an easy win. It would be nice to see Kevin Love and LeBron rest during the fourth quarter.
J.R. Smith will not play this evening. Kyrie Irving is still out, but traveled with the team and should be making his debut very soon.
Maybe Olynyk will pull out Draymonds shoulder.

If the Cavs keep playing defense like this the will earn back the respect of the rest of the league. With KI and Shump back there should be no excuse to play hard the whole 48 specially when I bet they are trying to get ready for the Christmas showdown.

Bob Cousy learned to dribble and shoot left-handed after he broke his right arm when he was a kid.

We’ve only ever gone to chill at the beach. There’s a manatee hangout around there and a bird watching stretch. But we’ve been wanting to go see a launch at some point.

Great game so far … but it sort of feels like we’re doing this against 5 corpses at this point.
Somebody remarked above though, that Magic have winning record and have been pretty competitive this year…
With such a young team, not surprised they start to lay down once they were losing by 20+

This is a complete and total game. Yes, LeBron is doing what LeBron does, but everyone else is playing to their fullest potential. Can’t wait for Kyrie!!!
By the LeBron comment, I mean he dominate the 2Q but not by playing leiso, but rather by smartly attacking the basket.
