Live Thread Cavs vs Nets
2016-12-23Merry Christmas Cavs fans! Tonight’s Christmas present? The return of Kevin Love to the Cavs lineup. Kevin’s rejuvenation after his knee contusion is surely welcome news given the earlier revelation that J.R. Smith will be out for 12 to 14 weeks after surgery on his broken right thumb (Andre Liggins will start in his place). Brooklyn will be without Isaiah Whitehead (foot) and Trevor Booker (rest). Brooklyn is lead by Brook Lopez’s 23 points per game and their large collection of wing/guards: Sean Kilpatrick, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jeremy Lin, Joe Harris, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, any of whom can score double digits on any given night. It makes it hard to focus on any one guy besides Lopez.
With the Warriors’ matchup coming Sunday, tonight has sandwich game written all over it. Consistent energy to start and finish every quarter will be key, as will be avoiding the third quarter malaise. Without Booker, Brooklyn should be thin on the glass, especially with Lopez gator-arming his way to just 5.5 boards a game this season. Maintaining the board dominance and focusing on getting stops should get Cleveland the win.
Yeah. We have 9 guys. JFJ for some matchups for a short time. McRae & Felder have a way to go. PT is the way to get there.
That was a good scrimmage to prep for Sunday.
Bench getting killed. I have loved Dinwiddie since late last year.
YES KSHRIMP NEEDS MORE P.T. TO GROW ( NOT PHYSICALLY) GAME EXPERIENCE —-STILL BELIEVE HE CAN HELP COME PLAYOFF TIME
Game is getting hard to watch.
Now I see why Lue doesn’t give Felder much PT. He can’t run the offense and he looks like wants to play way more faster than he should.
Agree. Felder looks not yet ready for prime time

Nets cut it to 41 at the end of three…

Kay gets himself to the line off some terrible defense by the nets. Why would you reach down on a five-foot-eight guy?
