The Pacers finally get to play a playoff game at home, where they went 29-12, a record that is on par with the top 4 teams in each conference. Â They will look to get Myles Turner, C.J. Miles, and Monta Ellis in a rhythm, to generate efficient offense when the Cavs elect to focus in on Paul George. Â George has been critical of teammates Lance Stephenson and Myles Turner. Â The common theme, is that neither player has been very effective at keeping Kevin Love from getting a ton of points on the low block. Â Love is now 11-16 from the field and a series leading 17-20 from the FT line.
J.R. Smith is in the starting lineup and ready to go. Â Tonight will be a tough game for the Cavs – I’m looking forward to seeing how they fare defensively, especially if the Pacers go back to a patient half-court attack targeting Kyrie Irving in the Pick and Roll. Â Let’s watch together here!

Stevenson hitting threes was found money for Indy. Cavs plan was to let him shoot. The 14/14 at FT line is a problem. Turner bringing it defensively too. Cavs need energy. Use this half to lay hard fouls on George and work the refs.

Cavs will make a run in the second half. I don’t think it’s as bad as the score, but Cavs do have to move the ball more and match the energy. I’m waiting to see indy have an energy letdown with all the emotion they were playing with.

think Pacers regress to mean with shots and energy, but if Cavs can’t flip to hot shooting and some runs it will probably still be a 15-20 pt win for them….again Id be surprised if Pacers blow this or make it under 10 point game

agree lack of effort is there, but Pacers also shooting lights out as well….just huge comb of factors that Cavs have no answer for….remember Cavs did this to Warriors twice in Finals last year (Gms 3 & 6)

Do you bench the whole starting unit? Do you let Longabardi coach the second half and go get yourself a drink? I’d want to make them run wind sprints the entire halftime.

The refs aren’t giving them a 25 point lead. They might swing some points here and there, but the Cavs are 99% responsible for this garbage.
Disagree. Cavs playing five on six, indy canning yolo threes and Cavs cold from three. Yes, the Cavs let it snowball, but much of this is a combination of the those three.
We have shown all year that we cannot defend the three, however, as the Pacers get wide open looks with 2-3 passes

This is infuriating. I hate this. Cavs just don’t show up. Think they can do things however they want and they’ll still get the win. They deserve every bit of this loss when they serve up this pile of hot garbage. They play no defense. None.
