With only nine games to go in the regular season, the Cavs face the Miami Heat for their final showdown of the regular season. Additionally, this is a possible preview of Cleveland’s first round playoff match-up as the Eastern Conference standings are very much in flux. Kevin Love has returned and has unleashed LeBron in a way that we have yet to see in the King’s storied career. No, really, check out the stats mentioned in this Amico Hoops article. Korver is still with his family as he morns the loss of his brother and Cedi is still out with an injured hip.
The Cavs tend to play poorly in Miami so this should be a closely contested game. Not to mention all of the dramatics that return now that Wade is once again not LeBron’s teammate. Fortunately, back-up head coach Larry Drew has the Cavs on a five game win streak. If LeBron is still in terminator mode, there isn’t a thing Miami will be able to do despite some lingering absences for Cleveland. The Cavs need to keep winning to close out the season and tonight is no exception as LeBron and company will attempt to hold back the Heat. As always, Go Cavs!

Jeff is the outlet teams leave open. He doesn’t have to shoot those every time…there could be action right away off those kickouts choreographed in. We just run such a friggin simplistic offense that a team of physical defenders at home can defend us easily. Cuz they can foul.

When evaluating all-timers, how you play during the regular season (and how your team performs) matter. By that standard, Bron is #8 out of the top 9. Ahead of Oscar, but behind Bird, Duncan, Magic, Wilt, MJ, Kareem, & Russell.
Lebron has played with fewer all stars and all timers than all of those guys. ALL of them.
Oh yeah, and none of them have been to 8 straight finals and had to pace themselves to deal with 3 extra seasons from everyone else
