Live Thread: Kings @ Cavs

Tonight, on the shores of Lake Erie the Cavs welcome the Sacramento Kings for a second game of a back to back (with travel!) for both teams. Luckily for the Cavs, they took care of business early against the Timberwolves so they come into tonight’s game in the ideal circumstance. The Kings come into the game the opposite fashion, a brutal loss in Charlotte at the hands of the walking wounded Hornets. The hangover potential for the Kings is real. The challenge for the Cavs will be internal, finishing the five games in a week strongly and with a winning record. Doing so will create momentum heading into another tough stretch of schedule until Christmas.

Cavs should have all hands on deck outside of Young Bull, while it looks like the Kings are missing a major piece in Richaun Holmes. Without Holmes this squad is completely reliant on guards to pressure the rim and score. If Tower City comes out with the right mindset they should be fixing for another beat down. The Cavs have stepped up to every challenge this season has presented, so it should be a fun one tonight at the “Rock.”
