Live Thread: 76ers @ Cavs

The Cavs welcome the Philadelphia 76ers to the shores of Lake Erie for a primetime, nationally televised showcase between two of the elite teams in the Eastern Conference and NBA at large. The Cavs are fighting to stay alive for the third seed in the playoffs while the Sixers will be looking to essentially lock that third seed up. The Cavs will have to play the perfect game in order to pull off the upset, this is their second game of a back to back and they will still be without big man Jarrett Allen. However, it looks like Ricky Rubio has his minutes/rest restriction lifted as he’s available to play tonight. Other than missing bench piece Jalen McDaniels, the Sixers are healthy and very rested.
The Sixers statistically are one of the best teams in the NBA, especially on the offensive end. They have very few weaknesses, but they can be exploited on defense by crashing the boards and pushing the pace. They don’t rebound all that well and they don’t like to run. Unfortunately their offense is so good those opportunities to run will be far and few in between.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:30PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted live on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes and nationally on ESPN, Go Cavs!

Cavs moving the ball well on offense and forcing turnover on defense, all you can ask for really.
They need to stay consistent though… Cavs rarely give us this for 48 minutes or close to it.

First-half turnovers the last two nights: 1 to 15 versus the Hornets; 4 to 9 tonight against an elite team.
Mostly ones you can live with too. Some shot clo k and dead ball turnovers and that one by Mobley at quarter’s end.
Did Stevens get hurt or Did JB just bench him?
Just benched him for more of Cedi and Diakite I believe
benched thankfully… Give Diakite all the minutes, get Wade warmed up for the 2nd half so I don’t have to watch Okoro screw shit up.
