The Cavs took the midnight train up to the Sacramento Valley to take on the Kings for another late night West Coast tilt. The good guys are facing perhaps their greatest adversity of the regular season finally as they’ve dropped two against playoff hungry teams at an inopportune time with the first overall seed in play. The Cavs face another desperate team scraping up the standings, though they have several key injuries to limit their potential for handing the Cavs a 3rd straight loss.
Can the Cavs bounce back? Will the Cavs REBOUND??? This will define their entire future. Whenever they lose, they don’t rebound and play soft. Until they stop looking like a finesse team, this will always be a criticism. Now’s the time to re-assert their physicality and competitive toughness.

The most recent 3-consecutive-game losing streak was eight weeks ago in late January, 2025, to Houston, Philadelphia, and then Houston again.
On the other hand, the Cavs’ most recent 4-game (also 5-game) losing streak was more than two years ago, in early November, 2022.

And the non-rebounders can survive if you can blend them or play them down, but that’s not what’s happening.
