Playoff Live Thread: Celtics @ Cavs Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals

The Cavs took care of business in Game 3. In a game where LeBron James and Kevin Love didn’t have to score 60+ points and still win handedly, did the Cavaliers find a new formula for sustained success the rest of the NBA Playoffs? Will the role players continue to show up? Does Ty Lue trust the lineups that don’t combine Jeff Green and Tristan Thompson for another game?
While many are expecting the Cavs to have found the switch, the Cavs are gonna Cavs so we really don’t know what to expect. Expect Brad Stevens to make some adjustments and the Celtics to perhaps not let Jaylen Brown get into early foul trouble.
LeBron and Co. will play in a much more competitive game tonight but the good guys will take it, tying up the series 2-2 and heading back to Boston.

Hope Lue will play Nance more.
Love has been largely awful. Cs go at him in foul trouble. We failed to do the same with Morris.

Yeah, Sage just doesn’t know basketball, and is kind of a novice broadcaster. At least Beadle is a fan, and also good at the job in general.

Solid half for the Cavs…turnovers a problem but if they can fix those and get second chance opportunities….they will be fine….gotta get hands up on all shots, contest everything….put this team away and put all pressure on them next game….no excuses next 24 minutes
Just bench Clarkson for osman and lue will finally be using a logical rotation.
It’s really baffling why Clarkson getting so much run. given Lue tends to make the adjustment 1-2 games late hopefully this is the last of Clarkson
Clarkson is the more aggressive offensive player than Cedi. They need that with that unit, the problem is Lue never has a quick enough hook if the player doesn’t have it for the night. Pop would put the 10th, 11th, 12 man in to find the hot hand.
Good stabilization at the end there. Up 15. Lost the quarter by 1. Garbage to give up 35 points in the quarter. Should be up 20+.
