Welcome to Vegas, peeps! The summer Cavs (some some aren’t) debut tonight. Colin Sexton, Ante Zizic, John Holland, Okaro White, and Cedi Osman join undrafted free agents Dakota Mathias, Billy Preston, and a host of hopefuls like Scoochie Smith as they take on Sam Cassell Jr., Troy Brown Jr., and the aptly named Phillip Scrubb. I actually always thought he had the tools (certainly physically if he is healthy) and some of the skills (shooting and ball handling) to be a star/very good starter. Question is can he be healthy and will his mental game progress.

Can be frustrating watching some of these super young players…you can see what someday they theoretically could be, but you want to speed up the process, and you can’t. But it beats watching JR not knowing the score and blowing game one of the Finals, I guess…

I like what I’ve seen so far, but I really do not like Sexton’s habit of not driving to contact and to the rack for finishes or fouls. Needs to watch film of Parker and Irving.
He took a lot of contact in college on drives, so I expect that will come…
