Larry Drew makes his debut tonight as the acting interim coach voice of the Cavs. Sam Dekker looks to start at power forward in Kevin Love’s absense again. Look for the Cavs to play hard after being embarrassed by the Hawks last week. And with this being a chance to silence some of the noise, and to get a win before playing the Nuggets and going on the road for two games.
It’s not hard to imagine that Larry Drew is coaching for a contract tonight, and that a bad showing might leave him out in the cold.
Let’s hope he comes through and this team starts playing better basketball.

Starters playing well.. Bench needs to pick it up. Cedi really struggling… I’d consider swapping Nwaba for cedi to let cedi play against backups.
Still hating the long twos. It’s gotta stop. It’s not even like we’re hitting them at a high clip or anything. 5 of 14. We’re 4 of 12 from three. For those scoring at home, that’s 12 points off 12 shots from 3, 10 points from 14 shots between the arc and the paint. Not that hard to figure out, fellas.

Trae Young is shooting 39% from the field and 30% from three on the season, DESPITE that game he scored 35 on us. Maybe if he keeps playing us his shooting percentages will almost be respectable this year.
Most interested to see how the first five minutes of the third quarter goes. Lue had a real weakness when it came to halftime adjustments.
Also, unless the Hawks score before one second ticks off, the Cavs will have their first halftime lead this season.
Fully expect a three point barrage by Young in the second half… but I’ll take any lead at this point…
We’ll see if they come out with a better third for a change…

TT setting a PnR doesn’t help one bit when the defender completely ignores TT and the ball handler gets double teamed. He needs to be gone.
