I was all set to write something salient about the trials and tribulations of the Cavaliers in this Live Thread… until I found the inherent irony in Tyronn Lue’s lip service about “changes” being on the way. Forgive me if I don’t subscribe to the idea that his minuscule rearranging of deck chairs in swapping out Jae Crowder for Tristan Thompson in the starting lineup will bear significant fruit. Then again, who knows? I mean the starting group has been so poor lately, what’s another bit more gum in the works for them with TT clogging up the paint like he does?

Three times were not a charm thus far this season against the Pacers (Cavs are 0-3)… so maybe a fourth? And, if not, then you have to believe that more seismic ch-ch-ch-ch-changes are on the way (the stalled George Hill deal notwithstanding). In any event, it’ll probably still be a while until things are Hunky Dory again in Cleveland…

Prediction: The more things (slightly) change… the more they probably stay the same… the Cavs turn and face the strange, watching the Pacers zoom by 115-107.

Catch the action (if you’ve nothing better to do with your Friday night) starting at 7:30pm EST on FSO, and check in to commiserate here… If nothing else, at least maybe you’ll see Dwayne Wade score 10 points to pass Larry Bird on the all time scoring list (wait, nevermind, he’s out for personal reasons)…
