Suave beyond belief.
Tyler Zeller wrote a rookie journal for NBA.com. It’s fantastic. He really comes off as a high-character guy. “I tried to make pancakes for the first time a couple weeks ago… I didn’t believe it only takes two minutes to cook a pancake.” Now, you may say that his cooking exploits say nothing about his personality, but the man took time to talk about pancake foibles in his journal. That isn’t exactly Jail Blazer material. Here’s the link.

I think he looks a lot like Eddie Haskell from “Leave it to Beaver” in the photo above. Still working on a nickname from that.
maybe we should wait to see what he plays like to find a name more appropriate?
Ooh, since he looks like a professor there, how about Dr. Z… Also the name an awesome Cleveland based Amplifier manufacturing company: http://www.drzamps.com . I am liking this. He’s also kind of the anti Dr. J. This could work.
The dude’s name is already Tyler Zeller. I’m not sure a nickname could improve on that. TZ already sounds like a rapper’s name and is also the domain code of Tanzania. Ya know… so there’s that.
We need to come up with nicknames for Zeller: I have two so far IROC (as in IROC-Z the comically overpowered 80s muscle car — this may be too meta…) and “The Accountant.” Which I kind of like. He needs to change his number to 28, so we can call him Z-28…
Funny stuff. Looks like he’ll be a good interview and a fun guy to watch grow into a great Cavs player.
