Preview: Clippers at Cavaliers, January 31st 2010-01-31 Off By John Krolik Sorry, no time for a proper preview for this one. My apologies. Use this as an open thread, and I’ll have a recap up for you tonight. Recap: Cavs 94, Pacers 73 (Or, The Time The Cavs Didn’t Need A Point Guard To Make A Point) Recap: Cavs 114, Clippers 89 (Or, The Time The Cavs Played 36 Minutes of Garbage Time)
I didn’t really enjoy the game either with the exception of the first and the last half of the 4th, but it was more because of the slow but seemingly inevitable choke of the lead in the third than anything in the Dime chat. I really liked how the Cavs closed though. The D came through when we needed it and made this game go back to the blowout it was destined to be. Here’s hoping we bring that same intensity when the Grizz come to town. The thing with Zach and Jared isn’t that they’re LeBron haters so much… Read more »
LeBron is shooting 50% from the field this year…that’s pretty hard to then say he has a bad shot selection, but hard to make a point like that because the bloggers have the power to post. Anyway, someone needs to explain to me how a team like the Knicks have more talent? Seriously? The Cavs have better guards, and overall better bigs. They have better defenders, better shooters. The ONLY thing the Knicks have is a couple of shot creators, like Al Harrington. However, guys like Harrington ONLY look good on bad teams and would be considered role players on… Read more »
It was so nauseating. A lot of chatters were coming in with great points about some of the good things Ferry has done to surround the Cavs with talent. All this Jared guy kept saying was over and over that LeBron needs to look elsewhere for talent. He brought up the Knicks, like that style is going to ever win anything… Then someone said: “LeBRon and Vince Carter have the worst shot selection in the NBA by far” and he entertained the idea. didn’t say, yes, but one of those: “well I don’t know if I’d say THE WORST” I… Read more »
I mean Pacers and Kings.
So let me get this straight- the TrueHoop bloggers who complain about the Cavs aren’t fans of the Lakers, Celtics, Magic, Hawks, or even Wizards, but the Pacers Kings guys? WTF?
After reading almost all of the chat from all-day, I have to say that Zach(??) from the other blog, cant remember which one, sounds like even more of an idiot than Jared. Who sounded pretty dumb himself. And here I thought it was only the Kobe-lovers who hated on LeBron like that.
It’s OK, John, I just frustrated reading all the nonsense.
In other news, I got on the Call in Show tonight after the game. AC was on with Mike Snyder. Got to talk to AC for like 20 minutes!!!!
Ah Jared was just a little jealous because the Cavs have Danny Ferry and they have Larry Bird.
Sorry man, nothing about being passive. I’m just focusing on the game during those things, so I can’t really keep track of what the other guys are doing. I’ll keep an eye on Jared next time we chat.
John, what are you doing? Why are you letting Jared Wade answer every single Cavs question? May as well take “Cavs the Blog” off your name and change it to: “John”
John is on the daily dime. Every other question is about how Danny Ferry sucks and the Indy blogger has taken it upon himself to point out all the reasons why LeBron should leave. And John just sits back and occasionally mentions something about LeBron not posting up….
Bottle these games up, Cavs fans.
The time with Mo and Delonte out is a fun time to watch the Cavs. They’re not as good against elite teams with LBJ exclusively running the point, but it sure is fun to watch.
Austin Carr is having a field day with this game
Cavs 11-13 from 3 point land
46 points in the 1st quarter (LeBron with 23, 8-9 from deep)
