Not a Recap: Cavs 94, Milwaukee 82
2012-12-22There we go. Â One win down, nineteen to go.
The youngsters played great tonight and drove the victory. Â Tristan nets back-to-back team MVP honors, tallying 14 points, 14 rebounds and a ridiculous +25.
Dion and Kyrie combined for 33 points on 55% true shooting, with 10 rebounds. Â The defense allowed only one Buck into double digits; Monta Ellis was unstoppable though, scoring 37.
And, it’s over. Â 29 games in 54 days. Â Now the team receives a well-deserved three day Holiday break, with only three more games this calendar year. Â Hopefully everyone travels safe and spends quality time with their families.
Recap in the morning.
I think something to monitor going forward is Kyrie and Waiters ball control. Im getting the vibe Kyrie doesnt like playing off the ball as much as he is right now. His body language is the thing that is bothering me, especially when Dion is bringing the ball up or running offense. I’m sure/hope its minor, but you never know.
Waiters! TT! WALLLLTONNNN!!! Gotta give credit where credit is due…all 3 played really well tonight. As much as we have ragged on Luke he really seems to have bounced back from his knee issues and has good movement when pushing the tempo; not too mention he has above average awareness/vision and good 1-2s with Kyrie. Is there anyway we can put his brain into TT’s body? Waiters looked sharp and seemed much more in control tonight. I think TT is starting to learn that his main assest on offense is his athleticism to get to the rim but he also… Read more »
The strange case of the Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde commenters. Sheesh…
Suddenly, trading Andy doesn’t seem so far fetched, especially since we’re obviously heading to the lottery. Keep up the good work Tris…
Tristan was +25 tonight. BEAST MODE TOGGLED ON
Walton was pretty good tonight. he pumped faked Illyasova like 9 straight times. The ball really moved around the court and the Cavs found lots of open looks and dump offs around the rim. The defensive intensity was strong all game. And TT was a TOTAL BEAST on the boards
Way to go!! Loved the bench! I liked they kept the tempo up. Again, couldn’t wait for Tristan to get back in on D. I was doubtful about Walton but he did contribute tonight. Walton, Pargo, Zellar, Miles, Boobie seem to work for us. and they kept the speed up. You have to! These teams make huge fast runs in the 3rd quarter and we have fallen time and time again. BUt not this time!! Waiters pace was phenomal.
This is not a recap, it’s just a tribute! Sorry I had to.
Couldn’t be happier with TT. Love his new-found creativity when shooting. Actually adjusts his shot into contact.
Walton’s Zeller’s and TT’s best games of the season
Great win! I was skeptical until they made it past the 3rd quarter. They played more deliberate this evening. They seemed to know what to do when they received the ball. Especially TT. Why does coach Scott call Monta Ellis “Montell”?
That was a GREAT GAME. The team looked so good on both ends. Awesome game for TT, Waiters was scoring in droves, and the ball moved from side to side. More of this!
