Where is Shaq during games? Does he sit on the bench with the guys, or is he off somewhere else?
Well, Windy tweeted that Jamison said the knee is just stiff and that he expects to play on Friday.
I am pretty sure the Cavs called Jamison’s injury a “stiff knee” as a purposefully vague diagnosis until they know more about his condition. This could be either really good (knee just needs some ice and a few days rest between tonight and Friday) or it could be serious (as in, they don’t know what the fuck happened and are waiting until tomorrow to give it a good look).
Rich, sans LeBron, J.J. makes me wanna die. And just when I was feelin a lot better about Jamison, he goes out and gets a stiff knee, ala my grandfather. Jamison can never let me rest in peace.
Heyyyy brad. How about Hickson outplaying Jamison on a consistent basis? I’m just messin’.
The breaks really seemed to not be going the Cavs way either. Like Colin said, a ton of in and outs, and matt bonner hit not 1, not 2, but 3 shots he couldn’t hit in the gym alone if you gave him 3 hours to do it.
Charlie, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the first Ginobli shot, so maybe it happened. But the last one was a flop. The camera shot from behind showed that Moon made almost no conact at all and basically went flying right by Mason.
Jamison getting a stiff knee is 0_0 worthy. I’ll remain 0_0 for quite some time.
Mo’s shot was on tonight. He was only 1-5 from three, but his four misses were all in and out.
On a related note, the Cavs may have the most in and outs I’ve ever seen in one game.
Rich snuck a post in on me … my response was to the bailout call at the end of the first half.
That might have been the most enjoyable win of the season.
Hope Tawn isnt seriously hurt.
Agreed, but the Cavs also caught a break as a Cav appeared to run into a three point shooter not once but twice in the last ten seconds of the game (I think it might’ve been Moon both times). There was a little bit of flopping involved, but the refs usually give the shooter the benefit of the doubt in that case. That really was a nice win, it’s good to go into a few days off until the next game on a positive note. As long as LBJ is fine and Antawn’s injury isn’t serious, the Cavs are in… Read more »
Wow. What a win. Mo was the best offensive player on the court for the Cavs (Jamison going down or he probably would have been). He only hit 1 three but scored 17 points because of his aggressiveness. He had a little bit of Steve Nash in his game tonight, running through and around screens and probing the defense. His passing was maybe the best I’ve seen it all year highlighted by the full court dime to Jawad in the first half. West was huge again. Only down spot, no Powe when clearly Hickson struggles w/o LeBron. I need to… Read more »
Crawford is an idiot. He looks like one of the monsters from “Humanoids From The Deep” http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g190/beedubelhue/humanoidsdeep7.jpg
Wow. What a bailout call by Crawford to end the half. He was all the way across the floor, and just blew that call to give the spurs two points to close the half. Pathetic.
Random thought: Delonte and Andy would make an excellent two-man team.
