Dion Waiters is out for at least a week with a sore knee and may need surgery. This is not something to worry about if it’s truly just knee soreness combined with tanking. If it requires surgery, it becomes more worrisome. Keep your fingers crossed, Cavaliers Nation.Also: I now would like to formally request that Luke Walton play 45-48 minutes against the Heat. Shelby had talent. Kind of wish they wouldn’t have cut him. This could get brutal. I don’t think I can watch the Miami game in public. Getting embarrassingly drunk or crying are totally in play. I get that the silver lining in more ping pong balls, but this really isn’t what any of us wanted. Not that we are used to getting what we want.
I hope Tristan will get some more touches. His and Zellers development is the only thing we really have left to look forward to this year if Dion is out an extended amount of time.

Team C:tB: this seems like an appropriate time to project and highlight potential d-league scrubs who may get some run with the Cavs in the upcoming weeks of stankin’ and tankin’. In the past, we’ve seen a lot of some really bad players in the last 15 games of the season–who on the Canton Charge do you anticipate getting called up, who would you like to see called up, etc? Maybe we should give Manny Harris another shot….tis the season.
