Cavs sign Jawad Williams to one-year deal
2010-09-19Via the twitter of Windhorst, Jawad Williams has decided to accept the Cavs’ 1-year, $1.02 million qualifying offer for next season. Good stuff. Jawad is a complete player, an Ohio native, and a very versatile guy who should work in any of Byron Scott’s lineups. ULTIMATE JAWAD SHALL RIDE FOR ANOTHER YEAR.
Jawad is decent. I mean we have a MASSIVE hole at SF this season seeing as someone left…. Having 4 guys that can play the 3 is definitely not a bad thing in our situation.
I’m glad he signed, but not sure if he’ll make much of a diffenrence. This is going to be a long and painful season, but will be good to develop some of the guys.
Oy. The guy’s a black hole. The ball goes in, it never comes out. And he doesn’t rebound well for his size. Thank God they’re not on the hook for a lot. It’s so depressing that this is the Cavs news we get now. Cavs need to go into bunker mode and just come out with an “us against the world” mentality this year. Also, can we hire Charles Oakley to a 10 game contract for when LeGone comes to town?
Oh oh, did you just jinx him into becoming our next Terrence Kinsey? Jawad is a good player… for $1M.
Hooray for my favorite remaining Cav!
