Good stuff Tom! Really agree that the Cavs have had Kevin’s back throughout this entire ordeal. After listening, I went back to look at what many of these former players have said about the play, and it’s amazing how they all seem to say it was no big deal and that Kevin was wrong to call it “bush league.” I wonder if it was their arm that got dislocated during a first round playoff game on a play like that if they would have responded any differently. I have a very good source at the Clinic. Says Love’s injury is not unusually bad. Said that a Finals return is definitely still in play (if no surgery). However, given the uncertainty, Griffin/Cavs want to protect team and Love by not setting expectations about a possible return. Its best to assume/behave as if he is out for good.

Great job Tom and I completely agree with everything you said. I listened to the BS Report with Simmons and Windhorst earlier and both tried to find evidence of Olynyk being a dirty player, even going back to his high school days. Well they couldn’t. I’m starting to “blame” and point my finger to Brad Stevens, who apparently had a reputation of dirty play going back to Butler. I heard his in-speech preach about not allowing the CAVS to rebound the way they were. The ball was going a different way and I think Olynyk tried to over-impose his will.… Read more »
