Gotta agree with Scotch. This one bummed me the heck out. LeExodus talk again? Trades? LePouting? Can we just play the games and see what happens? I am excited if the Cavs get to play either of these teams in the finals. Of course, I love an underdog story.
The odds on anything are 50/50. It’ll either happen or it won’t.
What about the odds on three things?

I certainly don’t think I’m dismissive of the Cavs Championship odds any more than the rest of the free world is dismissive of the any other team in the Eastern Conference having a chance at upsetting the Cavs.
It goes without saying that crazy things can happen.
I don’t think you are at all. I think the Cavs have a shot to win the championship this year, but the Dubs are clearly favored. I may give the Cavs more than a 35% chance vs. the Spurs, but I do think the Spurs would be favored in that series. Especially, since they have home court advantage.
Now, if the Cavs start to play like they had last year before the playoffs, I’ll give them a better chance.
No I would give the Spurs a 35% chance against the Warriors. I’d give the Cavs closer to 50% chance against the Spurs. I like how the Cavs match up with them honestly.
Gotta say me Neal is usually enjoyable to listen to but he was obnoxious as all get out in this one. And tom, I find your lack of faith disturbing! Not to say you are on w Mark Neal to trump up the Cavs no matter what’s really going on, but you were pretty down on them and basically said they have no chance. I put the Cavs 3rd behind the Warriors and Spurs.
I don’t think the Cavs can beat the Warriors in a 7 game series. I’d put their odds at less than 20%.
I’d put the Spurs odds closer to 35%.
Not trying to be a downer. The Cavs haven’t looked dominant to me and this season is getting long in the tooth,
The Warriors, conversely, look like the greatest team of all time. The Cavs don’t look like the best Cavs team of all-time.

It’s not that I don’t understand the thought process…its that as a fan I don’t relate to it. You’ve moved on to next year. You’re protecting yourself or something. Not that my attitude will be known to anyone but me, but if th Cavs have that attitude they may as well lose in the first round to save their bodies for next year’s run. The best team in NFL history also lost in the super bowl.

Cols, did you like the mid-court shot that Curry drained? He’s pretty unstoppable.
Curry is awesome. He also won player of the month.
Dude is having a great year. They are going to be really hard to beat.
It also needs to be noted that they are winning because Curry is awesome at ISO ball. Not because of any silly notions of passing offense.

He’s a pretty good passer, defender, and his handle is really slick. He can get to the hoop.
Troll harder. GS leads the league in assists for the 2nd year in a row and average almost 4 assists per game more tan the 2nd place team. And Curry is 23rd in the league in ISO possessions, and Lebron has twice as many as Steph.
Cols is pure cols. Nothing troll about him. I disagree often enough with Cols, but the recent cols-hate from a number of posters recently is unappealing. :/
