InstaCap: Cavs Obliterate Hawks and Record Books 2016-05-04 Off By Tom Pestak https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=54&v=3NYQVMXGPhg Watch above for Elijah’s Take Watch below for Tom’s Take Live Thread: Hawks @ Cavaliers (Game 2) Recap: Cavs 123, Hawks 98 (or, Game 3 in Atlanta if Necessary)
This was good! I like the camera got more than just your head & 90% of a tall wall. LoL You did a good job hitting on some really good points historically. Thanks for recap
Thanks TV63! Appreciate your kind words and your limitless well of passion for the Cavaliers
HAVE TO AGREE WITH BEN ON THIS —THE ENTIRE 4TH QTR WAS “PLAYGROUND CITY TRYING TO MAKE 3’S “—WHICH I READ THE HAWKS WERE UPSET ABOUT —-THEY SHOULD ACTUALLY BE THANKFUL —IF THE CAVS DIDN’T CONCENTRATE SO MUCH ON THE 3 AND ACTUALLY JUST FOCUSED ON PLAYING GOOD BALL THE SCORE WOULD HAVE REMAINED A 30 + DIFFERENCE ( OR MORE )—GO CAVS—GET THAT 1ST WIN IN ATLANTA ( SERIES IS OVER ) COME HOME AND REST
Just checking the box – Mozgov in 13 minutes – 1 rebound, zero points, 2 fouls, and -13. Against backups. I mean, wow. Is he even worth the roster spot? If he had been a free agent last year, he’d be making 20 million right now. He may not even be on a roster next year. WTH
Oh come on. They were not playing real basketball during his minutes. They were just going for the three record. Use his play in non-garbage time for your argument.

Best Cavs playoff game since…?
Games 2 and 3 of the Finals last year were awesome. But for a dominating performance, this was maybe the best since the Price-Daugherty Cavs beat the Jordan Bulls 107-81 in Chicago in the Eastern Conference finals in 1992.
(The Cavs ended up losing that series, 4-2, after Jordan disrupted the Cavs offense by guarding Price for key stretches.)

Cavs posted all the 3’s highlights
Nice off the cuff summary
Anyone remember when the ’95 Indians held the Red Sox’ 3 and 4 hitters, Mo Vaughn and Jose Canseco, hitless for the entire divisional series? The Cavs’ defense is doing the equivalent to Milsap and Horford in this series.

Haven’t heard much from the Team Blatt gang lately.
SALTAY
Things have worked out better than I expected.
I’m not really a team Blatt or team Lue gangster, but I would note that Blatt did sweep a better Hawks team last year with no Love. I think that essentially there is no practical difference between Blatt’s and Lue’s teams this season. I’ll wait and see what happens the rest of the playoffs.
Team Blatt is on record as stating no opinion on whether Lue would be a good coach. The problem team Blatt had and has is that his players cried so they fired the coach. Not because he wasn’t a good coach, but because the players were babies. That criticism remains.
I hope the Cavs win the title, but I will still have a problem with the way that went down.
So Joey and Mike don’t think Lue’s system works better than Blatt’s? You must have copped from Cols and zoned out and missed yesterday’s game.
It’s one off-the-charts game with a historic shooting performance — after they were lucky to win game four against Detroit and game one against the Hawks. Let’s see what they can sustain.
Blatt’s system was pretty good when they had the whole roster and went 32-7 with a +10.5 diff in the second half of last season. That was just shy of the diffs posted by Golden State (10.8) and the Spurs (10.6) this season.
Thank you both for the great content
