Live Thread: Cavs at Hornets

The Cavs head into Charlotte to take on the Hornets, who have become a tough out and sit 4th in the East. The Hornets are a lot like the Celtics – very deep, electric, if undersized, scoring point guard, a Zeller brother up front, and a recent borderline star acquisition in Nic Batum. Roy Hibbert seems like a rotation player again and the Hornets rank 5th in the NBA in defensive efficiency. We’ll see if the Cavs can avoid a LeBron bday hangover.

Orange Mamba! Didn’t see it, need the replay. Saw the box score. I still wouldn’t trade McRae (I’m a waive Mo guy). Let’s see if he can grow. If he can, we have something. Unlikely we get a real player for him, anyway. Mo has zero upside.

Very happy with the production of Mcrae & Felder. Nice way to end the year. As far as Buckeyes, they are still the youngest team out there, it’s good they come this far. Much work to do next season. I will say I am stunned they can’t even score though. It doesn’t change anything for me. I am vey much still a fan. But I’m more a Cavs fan. Ty Lue coming thru with minutes for Felder! Lue managing minutes well without Kyrie tonight. Hopefully a blueprint going forward… gotta go at least 10 deep during the regular season.

I think it’s a combination of several things for the Buckeyes, but they absolutely have to get a downfield passing game, of they aren’t going to beat anyone good. Defense has played their arses off, and getting no help. It’s really frustrating to watch them basically never even try to go downfield.
Absolutely right. Why in the world they have not put Joey Burrows in is beyond comprehension.
Still not expecting much (if anything) out of Felder or McCrae, but good on them for capitalizing. Hope it’s something they can use to build on.
