LeBron’s back from his bout with strep throat and will play tonight, according to Coach Lue. Â Kyle Korver, who appeared to injure his knee in the loss to the Bulls, is good to go as well. Â The Cavs will not have Deron Williams tonight. Â In fact, it’s not even been reported yet that they have signed him.
The Bucks, to their credit, have gone 4-2 since Jabari Parker was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Â They’re right on the cusp of the 8-seed, so expect them to thrash about to keep their playoff hopes alive for as long as they can

Sounds like Derrick Williams offered to let Deron keep the nickname “D-will”. If Derrick needs a new one, “D-thrill” is a good fit for his on-court style.

I don’t know what Bogut is thinking, if he joins the Cavs that right now have a huge need of a big man he will get more playing than any of the other places that he is considering and he it’s like 98% sure he will get a chance to play again in the NBA finals.
Kind of a no brainer if you ask me unless he is looking for more for a good payment.

This game was very exciting to watch and it’s going to be a different team soon with all the new players. We kinda know who gets cut but who gets dropped from rotation. Seems we will be seeing some auditioning going on .

Derrick Williams still has so much to improve upon. And I don’t say it as a knock. He has so much he’s good at from a sheer athleticism and coordination standpoint. He can have positive impacts with his ability to do lots of different stuff on the basketball court. As he becomes a better system defender and improves his hands and three point shooting he should be really good.
Agree… and we have to remember that he’s only seven games into his Cavs career… he’s already so much better than I thought he’d be…

And only 25 (26 in May). He still has several/many years of prime athleticism left to improve his game.
We have to hope DG+DG find a way to keep him. Little D-Will and Korver might stick around for the minimum because they are near the end, and have thus piled up a pile of money and going to the finals a few times is a great way to end a career. Big D-Will hasn’t really played for any big money yet, and will reasonably want some.

A win. Them w/out Parker, Middleton & Beasley gets hurt. Us without Love, JR, & Deron. We close the game: Ky, Korver, James, D-Will, & TT out there. I think that says a lot in terms of the state of our rotation once JR & Love return.
