InstaCap [R1G4]: Cavs 106, Pacers 102 (Spooky LeBron) 2017-04-23 Off By Tom Pestak Playoff Live Thread: Cavs vs. Pacers, Game 4 (#BroomsOut) Playoff Podcap: Cavs 106, Pacers 102 (or, How Sweep It Is!)
I didn’t mean for my comment about the Warriors facing some adversity to come across as callous. I was trying to juxtapose it to the ease of victories. Feel bad for Steve Kerr.
I don’t think it matters who the Cavs will play next or even in the ECF they will probably beat them in 5 or 6 games tops. But I still believe that they have to improve on both sides of the court to have a chance in the finals. Lue has to run more plays for Smith and Korver, to they have to get more than the ones they have been getting so far. Let’s hope they do it. KLove and Tristan will benefit from the rest they will get now after all the banging against those Indy bigs, it… Read more »
Agree with this.
Have mixed views on who is the better match-up for Cavs in next round. I’m leading more on Toronto. But it could change next game. Who knows?
It doesn’t matter who we play. Cavs are going to dominate them.
+1
Enjoyed the recap! One part I found humorous (besides Lebron embarrassing Lance) in the game was the last 22 seconds. Korver had the ball and Lebron was asking for it and he kinda like said NO…… I’m better at free throws, let them foul me instead. Lol I do see a little of what you are talking about in Lebron relaxing a little in his decisions and just going for it on 3’s. I think Frye is rubbing off on him. That last game Frye was like , “Screw it, I’m taking these shots and BANG” In this series, you… Read more »
I missed the Korver moment, makes sense as we hear Korver has been giving LBJ & others mechanical advice on FT technique. And so glad D-Will is killing it – Cavs are so much harder to handle.
Kerr has some sort of mystery illness, and Mr. Potato is coaching the Dubs! That should cause some discomfort for Warrior Fan.
No it’s pretty bad for Kerr. He is in horrific pain from a bad back surgery. Spinal fluid had leaked in his body cavity which caused him more neck and back pain. He told everyone NOT to get back surgery. He regretted it. There really is a good chance Mike Brown coaches from here on out. I just can’t see how any coach could screw up that line-up. It was said Draymond Green doesn’t listen to Brown anyways.
It is a huge setback for warriors team, but even more concerned about Kerr’s health, can’t happen to a better person.
Rudy Gobert does make a difference LOL
Great job Tom. I’ve been in the same Mythos boat for a while now, often turning to a friend during a game to say “man, LeBron can just decide, whenever he wants, to dominate. I wonder why he doesn’t do it more often.” Rhetoric aside, I think the answer is that he doesn’t need to; not every game is important enough to win when the team’s other members could use some field coaching, or maybe the game just won’t matter that much. LeBron is so selfless in his approach that he remains reluctant to show his hand even if that… Read more »
Offensively Cavs were good to great….defense had its issues but when Cavs needed stops they made them and won all the games…..looking forward to next series…thinking Raps-Bucks goes 7
LeBron is the MVP
Agree with Cols! It is a joke that only the Gunner – Clowns are being considered. Did you see Westbrook walking into the locker room during the Cavs game? He was wearing a cowboy desperado costume. What a buffoon. He will never win anything, and I can see why Durant walked.
Trophy is back. Edy, Kay, and Derrick laid down the first three of sixteen pieces. Wonder who put the piece down today.

As great as LeBron was against the Pacers his poor FT shooting was the main factor for the Cavs not winning some of these games by double digits.
I also have mixed emotions about the sweep because now we have to wait until May 1st to watch the Cavs play again.
At the other hand it would be a good week for the Cavs to get some more practice to continue to integrate the new pieces even more.
