Preseason Live Thread: Cavs vs Pacers

The Cavs have to turn off the Tribe game and come out onto the floor of the Q at 7:30, but LeBron James, Shump, and Cedi Osman won’t be playing. LeBron is sitting because he doesn’t need preseason. Cedi has back spasms, and Shump is out for 10 days with an ankle sprain. Sitting out for the pacers: Ike Anigbogu – questionable (right knee surgery rehabilitation), Trey McKinney-Jones – out (left shoulder rehabilitation), Glenn Robinson III – out (left high ankle sprain), Edmond Sumner – out (left knee surgery rehabilitation). I only recognize one of those names.

The Pacers look to trot out their new starting lineup of Colison, Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thad Young, and Myles Turner. Yep. This is another Nate Smith Money Ball squad. I’ve always liked Oladipo and Thad young, and was a Bojan fan in the draft. The Cavs will probably start the same squad from Wednesday: Rose, Wade, Smith, Crowder, and Love

Filling out the lineup for the Pacers: Corey Joseph (from the Raptors), “The Ear Whisperer” Lance Stephenson, Domantas Sabonis (came in the Paul George trade with Oladipo), (Mighty) Joe Young, Alex Poythress, and even NBA Journeyman Damien Wilkins (who has a shot to make the squad). The Pacers also have a bunch of training camp fodder.

Lets hope we see more structure on offense tonight, and less hijacks from Jeff Green. Feel free to sound off on the Tribe game while you’re live threading, and go Tribe… and Cavs.
