Mark and I wrestle over how much to care about the current Cavs’ malaise. This was recorded on Thursday evening but contains many still-relevant talking points. (sorry about the delay). Red meat alert: I went to bat for the Kevin Love trade.
yeah good night for that pick—keep up the good work Jason
Bulls win. Wins, pending LA at Memphis, Sac at OCK, Indy at Utah:
12 = Magic, Hawks
13 = Kings (at OKC), Grizz (LAL)
15 = Mavs, Lakers (at Grizz)
16 = Nets, Suns
17 = Bulls, Hornets, Jazz (Indy)
Next worst team has 20 wins. If the Nets have a tough 3-4 weeks before the deadline, the value of that pick will soar. I think #6 is the magic number: Doncic, Ayton, Bagley, Bamba, Porter, Young.
Hawks beat the Spurs. NY handles the Nets easily in Brooklyn, 119-104. Russell nearing a return. Bulls up 13 on Miami with 6 minutes left. Good night for the pick so far. Lakers/Grizz still to play each other.
nets down by 10 at the half—–okafor/ stauskas not really “setting the world on fire ” since being traded to the nets —–GOOD !!!!!!!!!
Hopefully today isn’t MLK day massacre part two, but with the way these two teams have been playing…
our ” New ” main goal this year —-the nets draft pick / rooting against them —will probably follow them as much as the cavs
Hornets win in Det. A good start to the day.
Nets get Knicks on B2B for NY.
