Cedi’s back! This one should be fun Cavs fans. Sure, they’re still missing TT, but this Cavs squad is almost back to full health. For the Nets, Caris Levert is in his third game back after missing several months with a dislocated foot. K-Love, Cedi, and soon TT… only poor JR sitting at home would make the Cavs complete. Regardless, Cleveland should be fun to watch tonight, and should give us a glimpse of the team that they could be. For the Nets, Treveon Bell will be missing this one. Let’s see what a mostly operational Cavs team can do!

Chriss is a lousy player. I think he has a 20% turnover rate for his career, he’s the master of the dumb foul, he’s not really a good shooter (despite his hot streak from three with the Cavs), and he doesn’t have any kind of feel for the game. I will be pretty disappointed if the Cavs sign him, unless it’s for a very small amount of money.
I’m surprised you’re so strongly against him. I agree with you that the streakiness since being traded is more fluke than anything else, but he’s still only 21 and clearly has the tools to be a good shooter if he can gain any consistency. He’s not a good defender but neither is a large chunk of the NBA. He’s got room and time to improve. I’m not saying I want the Cavs to sign him to a huge deal, but he’s worth a smaller one if he continues to develop.

Frustrating game to watch given that the officials were so atrocious, but it was still fun and got us closer to Zion. Clarkson, Russell, and Nance had amazing games. Can you imagine if those three guys were on the same team? Talk about a dynamite line-up.
Yeah. Last game would make any rational human want to sign Chriss next year.

We would be in slots #3 and #21 heading into the drawing as of tonight. Gonna be hard/impossible to catch the Knicks/Suns. But Bulls are not terrible with that Porter/Markannen/Lopez frontcourt. Too bad Carter got hurt.
As much as I get excited to think of Zion on the Cavs (I renewed my season tickets hoping we get him) I don’t believe for a second that the Knicks land anywhere but #1. My feeling is the order listed above is exactly how the first 4 picks are going to fall. If the Cavs land in the top 3 I don’t think they can go wrong with any of their choices. Chriss is on,y 21. The kid looks to have a ton of upside. May be he just needed a chance to play. Cavs don’t want to win anyway, they should give him heavy minutes and develop him for next year. There’s no reason to play TT, the trade deadline is past, we know what we’re getting with him.
He is a FA next year so we will have to sign him. But he can shoot a bit. If Larry continues to improve from deep and we have 3 bigs who can spread the floor, it opens up all kinds of things. I am a believer in needing 5 bigs (PF/C or C only). Love, LNJ, TT, Zizic, Chriss is an interesting 5. I guess Henson would make 6.
