After a ho-hum first half that left the Cavs trailing 53-50, Cleveland blew up for 67 over the final 24 minutes to beat the Bulls. Key for the Cavs: Kevin Love and Tristan “Canadian Dynamite” Thompson who became the first Cavs since Tyrone Hill in 2002 to start the season with four double doubles. Also key: Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman. The former dropped 18 including an absolute posterization on Wendell Carter Jr. down the stretch, while the latter swished four triples in the third for a Kover-esque 12 points on six shots on the night.

Canadian Dynamite was an animal with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and five monster blocks, while K-Love hovered the boards, notching 17/20/6 and a game high +12.

To talk it all over, Nate, EG, and Tom piled into the podcast booth with the World Series and a comical Rockets/Wizards 321 point basketstravaganza playing in the background. The three amigos broke down topics from around the Cavs and the Association, including Tristan Thompson’s newfound offensive excellence, John Beilein’s entertaining postgame analysis, Cedi Osman’s evolving role, the Cavs young trio (Sexton, Garland, Porter Jr.), and the Italian Anthony Davis.
