Live Thread: Nets @ Cavs
2019-11-25The Nets are in town tonight. They’re coming off a close 103-101 win against the Knicks less than 24 hours ago. They grabbed the win without Caris Larvert and Kyrie Irving, who will both miss the game tonight too.
Kevin Love is a game time decision tonight because of his back.
The Nets are 8-8 and are a well disciplined team. If the Cavs mess around this game could get away from them fast, the Nets aren’t going to beat themselves.
Let me know your predictions:
I’m picking the Cavs 106-102.
Tristan Thompson: 20 points, 14 boards. Let’s hope DeAndre Jordan plays more than Jarrett Allen to slow the Canadian Dynamite who had 25 points and nine boards against the Blazers on Saturday.
AGREE 100 % WITH YOU MIKEO—–UNDERSTAND THE CAUTIOUS SIDE OF IT—BUT FRUSTRATING FOR US FANS WHO WANT TO GET A GLIMPOSE OF HIS TALENTS/ WHAT HE CAN BRING ” TO THE TABLE ” FOR THE CAVS ——JUST SEEMS LIKE BACK IN LATE SEPTEMBER / EARLY TIME OF TRAINING CAMP THEY SAID 4-5 WEEKS — —GUESS WE WOULD ALL BE SCREAMING IF THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK TOO SOON AND HE GOT RE-INJURED / MORE SERIOSLY—–I CAN WAIT –IN THE MEANTIME…………. “MORE BEER PLEASE “
The injury sites I visit list Love as day to day with the back issues; Henson as targeting late November, and Windler as out indefinitely.
The Windler one is really aggravating. I know the coaches really liked him. I get that they are cautious, but would be nice to have some sort of rough ETA…
We could really use Windler’s shooting, Henson’s interior D, and Love, obviously.
I think Vucevic & Gordon are dinged for the Magic. So, yes, winnable game.
Looking fwd to next game. Leaving you with this gem:
