Live Thread: Cavs vs Pelicans
2020-01-28Zion is in the building. It should be dunktacular as the Cavs take on a feisty Pelican squad. For Cleveland, Darius Garland is getting the night off for rest while KPJ will play. Dante Exum will reportedly start in Exum’s place. For N’Awlins, only Kenrich Williams appears to be missing. I’m predicting a surprising 110-106 win tonight for the Cavs who’ll be getting a big upgrade over the short and lead-bleeding (but exciting) Darius.
This marks a homecoming of sorts for David Griffin who steered the Cavs org toward the greatest championship in the history of the universe in Earth year 2016. Sorry. I pronounced “NBA Champion, David Griffin” wrong. I’m excited for the the Lephrachaun who brought his enviable luck to New Orleans. I hope he has all the success in the world and that the Cavs meet Zion’s Pels in the finals some day. Until then, go Cavs.

I would agree about health concerns and that it’s clear the Cavs are trying to protect his health giving him limited minutes
sorry didn’t see this too. i think the minutes are definitely the concern. on offense, he gets by because he’s an OK finisher and an elite passer for a big man. Rebounding isn’t the best… probably because he can’t bang and if he does he breaks lol.
Rebounding is a major issue with him.

It seems like every game, I’m driving home, check the score, Cavs looking competitive, I get home settle in to watch the second half and the third quarter Cavs just do their third quarter thing. Ugh.
