San Antonio comes to town mostly healthy, missing only Keita Bates-Diop. This marks the first game back since the All-Star Break for DeMar DeRozan who has missed extended time after the death of his father. For Cleveland, Kevin Love, Matthew Dellavedova, and Taurean Prince remain out. Joining them on the injury report is Javale McGee who is listed as out with “illness.” Could a trade be in the works? Hard to say. Should be an interesting night. The Cavs will miss Javale’s steady play off the bench. I expect to see a lot more Dean Wade at the four, and a lot more Larry Nance Jr. at the backup five.

It’s been a tough stretch for San Antonio without DeRozan, who is far and away their best player and joins Jimmy Butler on this season’s “ridiculous all-star snubs” list, averaging 20/5/7 this season. I assume Okoro will check him most of the night. He has to make sure he stays on the ground, cause DeMar’s pump fake is lethal. The Spurs are 5-5 in the last ten, but have lost 4-5 on the road. Tough matchup for the Cavs as the Spurs look to get right, and are missing their best bench player. Hopefully Nance, Garland, and Co. are up to the task.
