Live Thread: Cavs @ Jazz
2021-03-29No big deal — Cavs are coming off a tough loss, are up in the Utah ether, on the tail end of a West Coast road trip, going up against the number 1 team in the league, and without either Jarrett Allen or Larry Nance, Jr.
Can the Cavs win at least a subplot in this game, like Sexland vs. Mitchell and Mike Conley? Time will tell.
#Cavs Isaiah Hartenstein will not only make his debut tonight, but sources tell @clevelanddotcom he will be in the starting lineup at center. It will be the 22nd different starting group used (full starting lineup in story)https://t.co/5MYm5GtDKR

Well, Hartenstein seems to have picked up his first foul but 14 seconds into the game, and the Cavs TV team notes that we have “a shortage of bigs.” Indeed.
Good luck Cavs!
yo sorry missed the last few games with y’all was busy, but watched all the sweet 16 games. Suggs huge game tonight against Mobley. Also, high on Mobley too as a prospect…. so smooth and great touch offensively. Defense is great other than being skinny, which is not the worst thing. Biggest concern about Suggs for me is his shot… a lot of data showing he’s average, possibly even below-average for a can’t miss lottery pick. His jumper isn’t the smoothest thing, wonder how much he can improve it. The vision and IQ, defense are legit, passes like Garland, defense… Read more »
I really like them both. Mobley gets compared to Bosh a lot, and I get it. He almost reminds me of a cross of Ralph Sampson and Bosh. (not saying he’s as good as either) I love his passing.
I don’t love Suggs’ shot, but if the Cavs get him, I’d dance a jig.
yup…. came around on Suggs especially after tonight.
I really love Mobley’s shot…. so fluid and on point, no question in my mind he could extend that shot out to 3.
Only watched the first few minutes before bed, but very predictable, especially with guys out. It was amusing that Hartenstein had two fouls less than a minute into the game. The tank rolls on.
The Hartenstein foul issue was well flagged by CtBers. Hope he gets it under control like LNJ has (mostly). He’s young.
A Nuggets fan on Reddit had a post saying in Hartenstein the Cavs have the next Jokic. I mean, lol, I haven’t seen him enough to say anything, but if he can’t get his fouls under control he’s a fringe NBA player.
To quote Nate, woof! Not a bad time to be too busy with work to catch the game. Cavs will reach the bottom before arcing in the right direction. Fervently hoping it’s sooner rather than later. I’ve noticed KLove getting an increasing amount of heat on social media from Cavs fans. I can’t imagine he’s not aware. It’s out of his control I guess, I’m sure he’s putting the work in – but at what point does one accept their body can’t handle the game anymore? I’m not familiar with the contract clauses pertaining to inability to play in the… Read more »
Woof. Just checked out the score. Good one to skip.
It wasn’t as close as the score…
down 19 at the half, yikes
Why no Allen or LNJ?
LNJ illness, Allen concussion protocols
Allen concussion protocol and JR is sick.
Fortunately Utah is just messing around
DG with the early agression!
uff, this game is going to get ugly fast
why are we doubling in the post??? wide open 3 after wide open 3
Hartenstein two fouls in 38 seconds. clank after clank to open the game! blow out potential, let’s fire up the young guns!
