depending on young 19 year olds to save franchises works every blue moon. there’s more than a lottery pick to save the team and even coaching and possible mgmt changes as well. Cavs have been depressingly bad in non-Lebron years the last two decades, just quite remarkable for a franchise…can’t think of another example from within the NBA or other professional leagues.
I grew up as a Bengals fan in the late ’70s through the ’80s. Believe me, the Mike Brown Bengals were a far bigger shark show than the Cavs have ever been.
Also, just in the NBA, the Clippers were beyond compare.
i guess to be more specific which franchise was lifted by a superstar and any other years without the superstar the team is just crap…to certain degrees the Bengals make a little sense, but I would also think Marino with Dolphins and without
man, Mike Brown…. a blight on the city of Cincinnati.
