AGREE WITH YOU JASON —PRICE FOR REDDISH IS TOOOOOO HIGH —-WHEN YOU CAN GO SIGN VALENTINE–( WHO IS A MICH STATE ALUM—-AND WE ALL KNOW WHO IS ALSO A SPARTAN ALUM )——AND YES GO GET // SIGN HARD ROCK—I LIKE EXUM// HIS INJURY PRONE CAREER HAS ME NERVOUS // GETTING ANOTHER KLOVE —DON’T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT MATHEWS
Yep. Good info in that Fedor article. Looks like our top 10 + another wing + 3rd PG, + backup C = 13. Last 2 would probably be Wade & Stevens.
No way I trade LNJ for any of those guys. Or our 2022 first. Now, Cedi & some 2nds for Ingles, Bojan, or Reddish? Yes please. Not sure ATL or Utah would do that. Not likely.
Absent a Hawks/Jazz brainfart, just go get Hartenstein, Exum, and Garrison Matthews.
AGREE WITH YOU MIKEO
RUMORS ARE CIRCULATING—-CAVS HAVE INTEREST IN HAWKS –REDDISH …..BULLS DENZEL (WASHINGTON ) VALENTINE ——-OPINIONS // COMMENTS
I’d say Valentine is about 900% more likely than Reddish…
Yeah. We can sign Valentine. Reddish is a trade, and w9n’t come cheap.
yup, Fedor said asking price for all the good players was a protected first rounder

Other tidbits from the Fedor article… sounds like Stevens has inside track over Kabengele and Dotson.
Hands inside track over Ryan and Bluiett
They’re definitely banking on Windler being healthy to play backup wing.
Good info in Fedor’s article. I don’t think Hart’s coming back… worked out for three teams who are probably better options for him. Brooklyn and LAC are good competitive teams and OKC can probably offer him something close to starter minutes.
actually OKC looks to have a couple of guys they can play in Bradley and Muscala…. so I guess it hinges on whether Hart wants to play for a contender in a big city or not.
man, watching the summer league and thinking about the teams in our tier (bottom 3rd of league) – hard to be super optimistic about the Cavs anytime soon. Amongst the teams at the bottom all of them appear to have a better mix of young players and/or more draft capital: OKC: Shai + 100 Picks is better than what we got Detroit: Stewart Bey Cade Hayes probably better than Mobley, Sexton, Garland, Okoro (though who knows) HOU: Wood Green KPJ + every BKN pick is better than what we got MIN: KAT + Edwards SAC: I’ll be generous and say… Read more »
yup agreed… said that last year, I said 5 years before contention minimum.
It all hinges on DG become that 80th percentile player (or better), JA becoming a 90th percentile player, and Mobley becoming a true super star…. that’s the basis for a contender. And we won’t really know that answer for at least 3-4 years when DG and Mobley enter their primes.
yep, I wasn’t even suggesting contention, just what the timeline might be for a scrappy 6 seed lol.
I do believe the worst is over. Assuming reasonable health, this team should come in around 25-30 wins with hopefully some really fun games / player development.
I wonder if there are discussions on what an LBJ return 3.0 would look like, and while i will always love Lebron, I hope we don’t dance with that devil again
yup agreed, should be at least some fun, bringing Mobley who’s a great team player and the development of DG and Okoro, who are also great team players. Even JA is an unselfish team player.
LMFAOOO I’d take LeBron back!!! Stretch four with Mobley babyyy!!!! Probably could last another 5 years playing in that role!!!
But I think he loves LA LMFAOOOOOOO
LOL –
Only plausible scenario i think would be if somehow we landed his son and he came back on a low cost deal to wrap up his career here. What a story that would be…
Yeah, there’s probably a non-zero chance he’d do something like that as a legacy mythology type thing…. also got to think he’d try to set the stage to pick off and get ownership of one of the smaller market teams perhaps, in some post-player arrangement
So, for camp, we get 20, right?
Roster locks = 10. Garland, Sexton, Okoro, Mobley, Allen; Rubio, LNJ, Love; Cedi, Windler.
Non-guaranteed guys = 4. Wade, Stevens, Dotson, Kabengele.
SL/Camp invites: Hands, Ryan, Bluiett, Thomas.
That leaves 2 spots open. Vaudrin? Scott?
Hopefully a FA signing or two (Hartenstein + wing).
Has there been any information released about Vaudrin’s injury?
no, been wondering myself.
SO ARE WE ALL IN ON THE ” GOOD HANDS ” TRAIN ——-WAS ABOUT TO WRITE OFF CABIN JELLY / CAME BACK AND PLAYED A DECENT GAME
Check out some last night highlights of Jaylen Hands. He looked like he was in a different movie than the other guys
Didn’t see this one, but keeping Ryan seems like a no brainer to me.
GOOD COME FROM BEHIND WIN—-GO CAVS !!!
Got the W nice way to end the summer!!!
I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED TO SEE CAVS KEEP HANDS OVER THOMAS—–JUST BASED ON STAT LINE—-HAVEN’T WATCHED ANY GAMES—-OPINIONS ??
I’m all in on “Good Hands”!
Good Hands and Hard Rock! What’s not to like?
I could definitely see Hands and Thomas competing for a spot.
NOT WATCHING GAME —CHECKED BOX SCORE—LOOKS LIKE STEVENS IS HAVING A ‘FORGETTABLE ” GAME—-EXPECTED MORE FROM CABIN JELLY ——-CAVS SHOULD GO SIGN HARD ROCK

Tre Scott with a great first half. Brodric Thomas playing his way out of a camp invite.
WHERE IS MATT RYAN FROM—–SHOULDN’T HE BE IN ATLANTA Q.B. FOR THE FALCANS (SARCASM—SIC )
https://twitter.com/oldseaminer/status/1427398538720432134?s=20
Matt Ryan again. I think he might be a better shooter than wade.

dang it, no ESPNews channel here, I’ll try and catch the replay I guess LMFAOOOOO
In case anybody wants to get thirsty for Adrian Griffin LMFAOOOOO
https://www.thestepien.com/2019/10/08/adrian-griffin-jr-deserves-1-pick-consideration/
Game moved to espnnews
oh shit, I’ll edit post
Why not Mobley?
I guess it was predetermined that Mobley would only play three games, according to Fedor iirc
Yup
huh — I don’t get that. Hard to see why a 20 year old shouldn’t be playing every day.
Im with you, but it’s pretty much standard now for high picks.
Standard NBA stupidity. Why develop them now at no cost when we can develop them games that count later on when their lack of experience can cost us games & help us tank again next year?
HaHa! That might be an upside. I know everyone hates tanking, but judging from the FA scene right now, the Cavs will need another draft to hope to have a contending team.
yup, I think they’re tanking for a wing in next year’s draft, Adrian Griffin perhaps?
It is astounding that the Indians/Guardians can stay in contention most years with no money and not tanking. Of course, tanking is a lot harder in baseball. The CWS have just pulled off a successful five year tank and are kicking butt.
Yeah chi Sox are kicking some butt alright!!!
Agreed. Hopefully we sort out Sexton & Love this year, and get a read on progress for Garland, Okoro, & Mobley.
One more tank for a wing.
Yup, 100%
Pretty much standard with top picks these days.
