Live Thread: Cavs @ Wizards

Tonight the Cavs are in the nation’s capital in a matchup against one of the most surprising Eastern Conference teams, the Washington Wizards led by Coach of the Year candidate Wes Unseld, Jr. The Cavs will be seeking revenge after the Wizards were able to steal a close one in Cleveland 97-94. Both of these teams are defensive stalwarts, both ranking in the top 10 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. The question will be which team can challenge the rim the best on the offensive end given the strength of both teams’ front courts defensively.
On the injury front, the Cavs will again be missing Cedi “the Jedi” Osman and “James” Dean Wade along with Collin Sexton of course. The Wizards are looking largely healthy, although apparently there’s some question to Deni Avdija’s availability.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:00PM ET and the game will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes, GO CAVS!

EG… JA just scored 28 points in a game against an EC possible playoff opponent… And no one is talking about his point total. All people are talking about is how badly the cavs destroyed a potential top 4 seed in the east…Remember when Lebron would score 25 against Detroit or Washington or the Pierce Celtics or the Van Gundy Magic? watched the whole suns vs kerrs game. Cavs are currently much more like the kerrs in philosophy…but much more like the suns in player makeup and personality. Do I think either of those posers match up with the cavs well? lol yes. the Warriors are just mobile enough and carefree enough to cause our defense problems that other teams don’t. Welcome back Bonus! Threads were pretty big back during the championship run, but yeah great to see the team pulling followers back to the fold.
Cols still post here? Back during the LeBron 2.0 seasons he was one of the few Fear the Sword posters that posted here. I was more active here during LeBron 1.0 years but I actively read content here up until LeBron left a second time. Fear the Sword had 9 comments on the game thread tonight. Dead. I’ve been on Reddit a lot lately.
There are some good writers at FtS, but there are way, way too many juvenile posters there, imo. Intolerable for me to read, unfortunately. The entity you mention is a fine example.
Also, SBNation blogs are less active in general due to their move to new forum software. They may pick up, but right now threads for every team are relatively dead.
Yeah once they switched to that garbage I went to Reddit. It really sucks.
