Live Thread: Cavs @ Bucks
2021-12-18Tonight, the Cavs travel to the shores of Lake Michigan to take on Central Division rival and reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks. Obviously all the talk is about COVID running rampant in the NBA and relatedly, the Cavs and Bucks will both be without major pieces to their respective teams. For the Bucks, they’re basically missing their entire starting lineup (and then some more). Luckily for the Cavs, they’ll only be missing Isaac Okoro and Evan Mobley. Fair or not, the Cavs should be looking to dominate and dispatch the Bucks with ease.
As it has been lately, the struggle for the Cavs will be internal. Can they stay hungry and ruthless for 48 minutes? If they do, then Cavs’ fans are going to enjoy the show. Do they come out as though they’re entitled to a win? If they do that instead, then it might lead to an embarrassing and consequential (from an Eastern Conference playoff seeding perspective) loss. Luckily for Cavs’ fans, this year’s squad has risen to every challenge so far.
Tip off is scheduled for 9:00PM ET and will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes. GO CAVS!
