2022-11-18Lamar Stevens has entered the chat. In a surprise move, Lamar will be starting and Caris LeVert will be moving to the bench. In addition, Jarrett Allen will suit up tonight after missing the last two games. For Charlotte, it’s looking rough, especially at guard.
If the Cavs don’t snap their losing streak after being mostly healthy, we’ll all really start to worry. I think they’ve got this one, despite the worry. Cavs by ten.

Am I the only one that sees Mobley as a defensive liability? He’ll make flash plays sometimes, but there’s a lot of fundamental stuff he’s screwing up that is really frustrating.
he’s been subpar this year, but he was amazing last year and he was amazing last night, hopefully a spring board game for him.
Its clear that currently Allen is the better defender. the sophomore slump usually is going from not knowing any better and living on instinct to beginning to implement planned strategy. The weight of conscious incompetence seems to be making him think more than react. He will have a monster year next year I think
Is Neto in the doghouse? Why isn’t JB using him? Just not enough minutes to go around? LeVert had 4 points last night. Not sure Neto could do any worse?

Garland’s d is becoming a seminal issue to plan around. is his peripheral vision just gone on the left side at the moment? He’s obviously coming around scoring wise. Caris in place of Wade is rarely a good enough sub on D. Wade is just multiple levels above in effectiveness, despite Caris’ obvious effort. Really hope he can stay healthy the rest of the way.
DG’s defense was amazing tonight, 5 steals and the Cavs posted a 97 defensive rating in his minutes. He can play defense, just needs to put his mind to it.
He was sneakily effective tonight I agree…but When you play allen and mobley almost all the minutes in a game it covers a lot of sins. The trend for Garland is something like 97 def rating in our wins and like 109 in our losses i think? I’d suspect if we’re missing allen his personal rating takes a massive hit. We didn’t play against large guards with willingness to drive tonight.
116 in losses, turns out. That’s quite the spread. I do love that his effectiveness on offense increases with usage though. That’s a freakin gamer stat if i’ve ever seen one
