Live Thread Cavs @ Bucks

The Cavs have traded the shores of Lake Erie for the shores of Lake Michigan as the good guys will be in for a massive Central Division showdown with the Bucks of Milwaukee. With a win the Cavs can overtake the Bucks for the second seed, and while it seems ridiculous to point this out especially in November, every game matters for championship contending teams.
The Cavs are riding the high of a four game win streak, while the Bucks are mired in .500 ball the last 10 games mainly because their offense sucks bad. Hopefully they don’t figure it out tonight against the Cavs’ defense. They will have Jrue Holiday back for this contest, but it sounds like Khris Middleton is still out. The Cavs will be missing at least three rotation guys in Caris LeVert, Kevin Love, and Lamar Stevens. But have no fear, Dean Wade starts for the Cavs tonight!
Tip off is scheduled for 8:00PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted live on Bally Sports Ohio, Go Cavs!

best defense in the NBA by far.
Dg taking 18 shots and only 5 of those are 3s… not a great shot profile for him.
If we make the playoffs I want to avoid the Bucks as long as possible.

I think it’s pretty clear that JB is gassing his guards. He needs to develop some sets with Neto/LeVert as a different look, and to give SpidaLand some rest.
They need LeVert back first. I know many teams are missing guys, but the Cavs haven’t had a full compliment for long…
Agree… LeVert is missed, especially his defense on the perimeter and passing to the bigs.
Yeah if we want any chance against this team we’ve gotta be fully healthy and the coach needs to know how to use the bench. I know he trusts Rubio so maybe that’ll help when he returns.
9 days ago the Cavs scored 38 points in the second half vs. the Bucks and lost. Tonight they scored 39 points and the second half and once again lost. Tonight seemed much worse because of the 3rd quarter meltdown and Allen going down, but they Bucks know how to make adjustments, and I’m not sure JB and the Cavs do?!
Bucks also have the best player in the NBA
None of this is wrong. But Allen went down at the worst time, which had a huge impact. I think the Bucks would have come back into the game anyway but I don’t think it would have been such a capitulation if he hadn’t.
I’m generally fine losing a close game. I don’t like getting spanked.
Bucks clearly pull the defensive switch in the second half of both games.

On Nov 16th: (Cavs up 61-60)
3rd quarter:
Cavs:6/21 = 29%
Bucks: 15/25 = 60%
On Nov 25th: (Cavs up 63 – 52)
3rd quarter:
Cavs:3/18 = 17%
Bucks: 14/25 = 58%
Bucks just have another gear the Cavs don’t have.
Are we missing more important players or are they? I cant tell. Either way they are stacked if Carter is going to never miss an open 3
