The Cavs welcome the Detroit Pistons to the shores of Lake Erie for a classic Central Division showdown, a game that will be made much harder to win for the Cavs given the breaking injury/rest news:
#Cavs Donovan Mitchell (groin soreness) and Darius Garland (thumb soreness) are both OUT tonight against Detroit, sources tell @clevelanddotcom. Raul Neto and Caris LeVert will be stepping into the starting lineup, sources say.

Ironically, the Cavs played without both DG and Spida and blew out Detroit in their first matchup of the season 112-88. But in that game NBA Champion Kevin Love played an instrumental part (21 points, 10 rebounds, +30 plus/minus in 23 minutes) especially on the offensive side to help win that game. Perhaps KLOVE will make a return? Stay tuned.

Not even going lie.. the West is so tight.. 4th place is 8 games back and 9th place Warriors is 9.5 games back.. .. while in the East between 3rd 4th and 5th place is 1 game apart.
Out West would have had me extra stressed out !

FWIW, and this is hardly definitive if a buyout, but on the ESPN bix score, I do not see Danny Green or John Wall listed as on the bench for Houston. But recently acquired Frank Kaminsky is.
With Conley & Beasley gone, & Clarkson iffy, Sexton and Agbaji starting for Utah tonight.
Ainge gonna have the Sexton PG experience. That train is gonna head towards Wembyville.
Per Fedor, we had an excellent want list: both Bogdanovic’s; from the Nets Cam Johnson, DFS, and O’Neale; and Grant Williams.
Price either too steep or they did not like what we had to offer. But I cannot complain about Altman’s taste in players.
