The Cavs welcome the San Antonio Spurs to the banks of the Cuyahoga River for a perfunctory trap game following a brutal West Coast trip for the good guys. The Spurs are engaging their stealth tank post-Wemby injury, and the Cavs are trying to start build momentum heading into the playoffs.
It was refreshing to finally see some adjustments from Kenny Atkinson last game: starting Sam “I Am” Merrill, playing larger lineup combinations with at least TWO good rebounders, finally sticking more with a Merrill/Okoro super saiyan lineup. Were these a flash in the pan or portending something more? Stay tuned…

Boston also has a cake schedule to finish the season, so I doubt they lose more than 1 or 2 games to close it out.
caris having a very nice march with ATL.. 14.6 ppg and 36% on 3s.. even better in february after the trade.. as an aside, he and niang put up 37 (don’t quote me) in hawk’s win over golden state last week.. ATL playing fairly well since the trade (9-9).. currently, trade looks like a win-win.. let’s see what plays out in the post-season.. liked the trade after it was made.. still like it.. but, again, waiting for the post-season..

I don’t think the pistons need to turn it into a slugfest. They are good enough to play straight up. I look forward to good execution from both teams and also look forward to the Cavs winning a tight one.
